Dr. Katherine E. Misch received her bachelors degree graduating cum laude from Trinity College in Washington, D.C.. She then received her dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1991. She was awarded the Teldyne-Hanua award in Prosthodontics, the International Merit Award in Removable Prosthodontics and the Outstanding Undergraduate Achievement in Prosthodontics from the American College of Prosthodontics. She also completed training and licensure in conscious sedation intravenous anesthesia. Dr. Misch then completed her two year specialty training in prosthodontics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in the Highland Drive Veterans Hospital. Prosthodontics is the specialty of restoring teeth and/or replacing missing teeth with artificial substitutes such as dental implants. She is an active member of the Academy of Osseointegration. Her specialty practice is concentrated in implant prosthodontics and cosmetic dentistry.
